Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Clickswork ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website or contact us. We keep things simple: we only collect what we need to respond to you and to run this website.
Who we are
Clickswork is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at any time by emailing BaileyBurgess@clickswork.com or calling 07838758817.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry
Our contact form asks for your name, business name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your budget range and a description of your project. We also record the date and time of your enquiry and the page you sent it from.
When you use the Clickswork AI chat
The chat assistant in the corner of this website is an AI assistant, not a person. To reply, the messages you type are sent from our server to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them on our behalf to generate a response. Your conversation is kept in your browser for the current visit only. It is not saved by Clickswork unless you choose to send us your details through the chat's "Speak to Clickswork" form. In that case we store the form details together with the conversation and a short summary of it, so the team can follow up with full context.
Please don't share sensitive information (such as payment details or passwords) in the chat.
Bot protection
To protect our forms from spam, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person. Cloudflare processes limited technical information about your browser for this purpose.
When you browse this website
Our hosting provider may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the website running. To protect the form from spam and abuse, we temporarily use your IP address to limit repeated submissions; it is held in memory only and is not stored with your enquiry.
If we enable website analytics, we will use it to understand how the site is used in aggregate (for example, which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked). Where analytics relies on cookies or similar technologies that aren't strictly necessary, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy to name the provider.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To prepare a proposal or quote if you ask for one.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you.
- To keep this website secure and working properly.
We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your permission, and we never sell your personal information.
Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you ask us to provide a proposal or services, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run this website and our business, such as our website host, our email provider, our AI provider (Anthropic, for the chat assistant) and Cloudflare (bot protection, if enabled). They act on our instructions and must keep your information secure. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally no more than 24 months from our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as required for legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to object to or restrict how we use it; and to data portability where applicable. To make a request, email BaileyBurgess@clickswork.com. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
